Hearings in Lansdowne House COVID-19 Protocols
Hearings in Lansdowne House
With effect from 21 July, Lansdowne House will be open for hearings in a restricted manner.
The Labour Court has put arrangements in place to ensure hearings are conducted in line with public health guidance. These measures include social distancing and increased hygiene measures. The COVID-19 protocols can be viewed here.
The Court will publish its programme of employment rights based hearings weekly on its website in the normal way. However, by reason of the exceptional circumstances that have been put in place to ensure minimum presence at hearings, there is no physical capacity to provide for persons not directly involved to attend the hearings in Lansdowne House. Thus all employment rights hearings in Lansdowne House will be private for the foreseeable future.
The Court will continue to schedule hearings in virtual court rooms.
